A quick rough and ready NGC7000 taken tonight in Ha light. After a night of PC problems, just feels good to get some sort of image.
Taken with SXV-H36 with attached large format adaptive optics driven on an EQ8. 5×10 minute exposures for lights binned 2×2. Calibrated with Darks, Bias and Flats in Deep Sky Stacker and processsed in CS3.
I’m really happy with the appearance of the dust lane between NGC7000 and IC5070, unlike my first ever image of this subject, this looks like a dark lane of dust superimposed against the Ha rich area behind.
Thanks for Looking, Steve
