Bad weather won over the period the transit was visible from the UK but I did manage to at least get one shot of the transit in a gap in the clouds.

I managed to see the first 45 minutes or so through the thinner cloud but then the base got too thick and all of the signal was lost. The first 45 minutes looked like:
